Kidney Stones...

Yah, I got em. Woke up last week in absolute horrid pain I thought my appendix was bursting. After an emergency room visit, 3 hours on IV's and a CAT Scan - the doctor told me I "wasn't giving birth to a baby, but Kidney Stones!" How nice of him to put it like that...he wasn't kidding.

So needless to say, my blog has slacked lately. We survived Halloween, just barely, and I didn't even hardly get pictures to prove it...

So sorry, Kelly! I've had several kidney stones-- I had them when I was pregnant, actually. Horrible, horrible pain! Hang in there!

Let's try putting together another get-together sometime soon.

oh, I'm SOOOOOO sorry to hear that! Those suckers are very painful. I got one after Carson was born. I had to go into the ER as well only to have surgery a week and a half later. Miserable!
Did you pass it on your own or have surgery?
Glad you survived! I love visiting your blog and miss your cute family!

About the same time as your kidney stones, I woke up in horrible pain also. After a trip to the emergency room because I thought my appendix had gone, I found out that I had a functional cyst the size of golf ball. The doctor sent me home with pain killers and told me to wait for it to go away. Too bad we couldn't have suffered together. I honestly think labor was less painful than wait days for the cyst to burst.

Hey, I have kidney stones too! I really didn't know they were so common. Mine are just sitting there in my kidney like a ticking time bomb. I never would have known, they were found on an ultra sound I had for something else.

Was the work trick-or-treating party before or after kidney stones? I'm so sorry! You are a trooper, that's for sure! I've never had them, but Clint did and they were NOT FUN.
